Day 1:Leave Kampala -Kitgum
Pick up from Kampala and transfer to Kitgum for overnight stay. Have Lunch in Gulu at a convenient place and also take a walk around the town before proceeding to Kitgum for diner and overnight at your lodge.
Day 2: Kit gum Kidepo Valley National park
Known as one of Uganda’s most dramatically wildlife reserve, kidepo Valley is just in 2-3 hour drive distance from Kit gum town. The day starts with morning breakfast , followed by the scenic drive to the park arriving at lunch time at the lodge. Later go for an evening game drive in the park before dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Day 3: Game Drive & Cultural Tour
We do an after breakfast morning game drive in Narus Valley which loops into the park wildlife valley and offers a good wildlife viewing platform of lions, cheetahs, elephants, Buffaloes among others. But what can’t be missed are the giant ostriches that are on hunt by Sudanese.Have lunch and later experience the Karamajong culture at first hand, the art and craft, tradition and kraal life. Day 4: Kidepo Valley- Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast at the lodge depart Kidepo Valley for Murchison Falls National Park with lunch enroute arriving in the evening right time for park evening game drive. Feed eyes with some of the park wildlife and retire looking forward to much more than what you have seen. Dinner and Overnight stay at your lodge.
Day 5: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise in Murchison Falls
You should be up by 6.00am, take a quick cup of coffee or tea with a snack to warm your tummy and set out for the early morning game drive in the north area of Murchison falls. Be ready to spot animals like lions, elephants, hynas, leopard, giraffes, kobs, warthogs, bushbucks, jackals etc and at very early, the cats are still active hunting for prey. Fill your camera with memories of wildlife, beautiful landscape and plenty of vegetation full of life as you return back to your lodge for breakfast and Lunch.
An afternoon on the Nile will add more memories to your experience especially the fight if water and rocks, hippos, crocodiles, birds and several wildlife that come to the Nile to take water. On getting to the bottom of the Murchison Falls, leave the boat and set out for a 45 minute hike rocks adjacent the Murchison falls thereby accessing great views of the falls at different spots along the trail. However, you will meet up with your driver guide on top to drive you back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: Chimpanzee Trekking & Return back to Kampala
Have breakfast, track chimapnzes and drive back to Kampala with an optional stop at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary reaching in the evening with a drop off.
