This chimpanzee trekking safari takes you to Kibale forest National Park in Uganda a home to diverse primate species in Africa. And you can track Chimpanzees in the early morning, mid-morning or afternoon, then can use the other time to explore other park tour activities including Bigodi wetland, hike the crater area, Amabere g’ Nnyinamwiru caves, Adam tree etc
Day 1: Explore the different attractions in Fort portal and in Kibale National Park before retiring for the day.
Leave Kampala early morning and be in fort portal by 11.ooam and fist explore all the interesting places in the area before retiring for the day. There is a lot to enjoy including Bigodi wetland, Adam tree,Amabere g’ Nyinamwiru among others.Meals and overnight stay at your lodge.
Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking& Drive back to Kampala
Breakfast in Kibale forest at your lodge, followed by chimpanzee trekking inKanyancyu area. The trek last between 3-4 hours and the chimpanzee family that is tracked is well habituated by park ranger’s andconservationists. Each day chimpanzees roam through the forest in search for eats just like any other primate species. Be ready to meet much more primates beyond just chimpanzees. Enjoy your time with chimps and later have lunch before embarking on the ride back to Kampala.
